Want to create a wholesale order form in WordPress?
If you’re a wholesaler looking to get online, but don’t want to manage a full-fledged eCommerce store, then you might want to consider adding a simple wholesale order form to your WordPress site.
In this article, we’ll show you how to properly create a simple wholesale order form in WordPress.
Step 1: Install WPForms to Create a Wholesale Order Form
First, you’ll need to install and activate the WPForms plugin.
Using WPForms is the easiest way to create a wholesale order form. WPForms lets you create any kind of forms with ease, be it a contact form, signup form, registration form or even order form, and more.

Upon activation, navigate to WPForms » Settings in your WordPress admin area and enter the license key.
To get the license key, log in to your WPForms account and click on the Downloads tab. Copy and paste the license key in your WordPress admin area.
Step 2: Create a New Billing / Order Form in WordPress
Next, you need to go to WPForms » Add New page. It’ll direct you to the WPForms form builder, and you’ll see the form templates on your screen.
Start by adding a name for your new wholesale order form and select the Billing / Order Form template to continue.
You should now see the default order form on your form builder. It contains all the important fields to accept online orders from your customers.
Now, click the Available Items field on your builder to see its settings on the left side of your screen.
Here, you can customize the label, rename the field, and add more items to your product list.
You can add more products and items as you like.
The plugin also lets you add images for each item on your product list. Simply select the checkbox next to the Use Image Choices option.
You’ll see the Upload Image button under each item. Select that button to add images of your products.
In the Advanced Settings, you can select an Image Choice Style and Choice Layout to display product images beautifully.
After that, you can add any other fields to your wholesale order form to collect data from your customers. All fields are available on the left side of your screen.
Once you’re done editing the form, click on the Save button on the top right corner.
Step 3: Customize Settings for Your Wholesale Order Form
Next, you need to go to Settings » General page in the WPForms form builder.
On this page, you should add form description, submit button text, submit button processing text, and more. It also lets you enable the anti-spam option, dynamic fields, AJAX form submission for payments, etc.
After making all changes that you need, click on the Save button to store these settings.
Step 4: Customize Notifications for Your Wholesale Order Form
To manage your wholesale orders properly in WPForms, make sure that you receive notifications on every form submission quickly. This way, you can manage your wholesale orders and deliver them to your customers on time.
In Settings, visit the Notifications tab to customize the notifications.
You can even send an automated email notification to your customers as well to confirm their orders.
Step 5: Display Confirmations to Your Users Upon Form Submissions
When a customer submits the wholesale order form, you’ll need to display a confirmation message that says the order has been received.
With WPForms, you can either display a confirmation message, a page (like a thank you page), or redirect users to a URL (like a third-party website).
You need to visit the Confirmations tab to customize the settings.
Simply select an option from the Confirmation Type dropdown. If you choose the Message option, then add a confirmation message to display on successful wholesale order form submissions.
Click on the Save button from the top right corner of your screen.
Step 6: Add a Payment Method to Your Form
Next, you need to add a payment method to your form, so your customers can pay online for their purchases. WPForms supports 2 payment options: Stripe and PayPal.
If you want to add Stripe payment to your order form, then go to WPForms » Addons page in your WordPress admin area. Then install and activate the Stripe addon.
After enabling it, visit the WPForms » Settings page and go to the Payments tab. From there, you need to click on the Connect with Stripe button to connect Stripe payment method with WPForms.
Now log in to your Stripe account to authorize Stripe with your website. After the successful connection, check the status on the WPForms » Payments page in WordPress.
Now, you need to go back to the WPForms form builder and visit the Fields tab from the left side. From the Add Fields section, you can drag and drop the Stripe Credit Card field to your form on the right side.
Don’t forget to Enable Stripe Payments by navigating to Payments » Stripe.
Now click on the Save button.
Step 7: Display Your Wholesale Order Form in WordPress
Now, you can display your wholesale order form in a post, page, sidebar, or a template file.
If you want to show your order form on a page, then visit Pages » Add New to create a new page.
Start by adding a title for your new page. In the block editor, click on the + icon.
You can search for the WPForms block and click on it.
You’ll now see the WPForms block in the editor. You can click on the dropdown to select the wholesale order form that you’ve just created.
